What's your workout style?

If your New Year’s resolution is to get healthy, you might be considering trying out for a school sport, joining a gym, or doing a video at home. Or maybe your mom is encouraging you to help her meet her fitness goals. But which workout style is best for you? Take our quiz to find out!

While you love spending time with your friends and family, you’re just as happy doing things solo. You prefer to do things at your own pace, and you may not need someone to help motivate you to get active. The relaxing yet energizing movements of yoga or Pilates might be a good fit for you. You can try a class at your local community center or gym or pick up a workout video to do at home. You may also want to give running or hiking a try. All of these activities can be done on a schedule and pace that works for you! Need some tips to get started?

You love doing things with your family or close friends, and having a friend or family member with you when you work out can make it more fun and help you build confidence! Join a gym with your BFF to try out a kickboxing or dance class, or take walks with your mom after dinner. Help each other stick with it! You like doing things in a group setting—whether it’s going to the movies or simply hanging out in the school cafeteria. Stay motivated and energized in your workout with a team sport like soccer, basketball, or softball. You’ll be surrounded by friends while also learning great leadership skills and how to be a team player. Not sure which sport is right for you?
